We actually found this place after reading several reviews from another site and thought that it sounded like a good place to visit. I think most of the people who go are regulars so we kind of felt out of place. When we got inside the hostess didn't even acknowledge us and we had to wait for a while to be seated but our server was quite friendly so that made up for it. The food however, was really not up to standards which left the both of us so disappointed when we left.
We visit this local pub almost every other week whenever we don't feel like to cook.
They have a wonderful chef that creates amazing food. He often comes out later at night and greet to people.
Our favouriates are:
Greek Salad: Very generous with goat cheese.. dressing is the best of the best.
Beef Ribs: Wednesday Ribs night. $2.50 each big piece. Sauce is very tasty.
Pasta: All selections are excellent.
Fries: must try potato fries or Mike's favoriate curry fries.. Yum
Beer: great price! way cheaper than any other places.
Their daily specials are always creative and great.
We had lamb one day. It was heaven.
We like it a lot. Service is nice. We haven't had any bad experience. We have become the regulars.. :)
The first time i was here......................
it was a bit noisy, but you have to take into consideration that it is an Irish pub, and you definitely get used to it
Overall, they do have band night and movie night which is really great, they also have an all you can eat wing night with 10 different flavours of wings, then they have pasta night when its cheaper, and you get a better deal.
My personal favourites, would be the burgers, the fettuccine past, and the wings, and definitely their deep fried desert.
Best bar in Markham! My friends and I had the kangaroo special, and let me tell u it better than I expected, only thing was it didn't come with the pouch.
