Servers were attentive but seemed like they were put out when we ordered coffee. We were told the machine was broken? Our salads were served on warm plates and our pasta dishes had no flavour, they were dry, clumpy and way over cooked.

We have eaten at least once a month at Azzura over the past 5 years with many friends and have always enjoyed the most delicious food and outstanding service.
The quality of the food and the service is the best anywhere. The recommended wine has always been great. A nice selection.
We always choose Azzurra for family celebrations, intimate dinners or gathering with friends and business associates.
We totally agree with James Chatto's review in the March issue of Toronto Life---"Azzurra, arguably the best of many Italian restaurants in Collingwood proper."

We were happy to introduce our friends to one of our favourite restaurants. Everyone enjoyed the fine food and excellent service. Azzurra Trattoria is one of Collingwood's best!
We had been to Azzurra in Feb./06 and Feb./07. Everything was excellent, especially the pastas (a speciality).
This time our 2 pastas were very ordinary (fusilli limp from overcooking, penne felt like it had been sitting around) the calamari was barely deep fried, although tender.
The halibut was very good. My 3rd glass of chianti was not chianti (much too dark) even though the server insisted it was.
The cappucino machine wasn't working (Sat. night of Family Day weekend !!)
Conclusion: We go to Azzurra for the PASTA, and it was not worth it.
