Marion was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1979. After initially working as a lawyer in general practice in Milton, Ontario for two years, Marion joined a large firm of chartered accountants with an international affiliation to obtain training in the area of income tax. After six years working with chartered accountants, most recently as a tax manager, Marion established her boutique law firm and restricted her practice to certain chosen areas of law that rely to a high degree on income tax experience.

Marion has also been Tax Counsel for many years to the Toronto law firm of McBride Wallace Laurent & Cord LLP.
