She has been working in the insolvency industry since 2008, and she has extensive experience helping individuals resolve their financial difficulties through personal bankruptcies or consumer proposals. Shannon’s financial recovery experience includes helping businesses with private and court-appointed receiverships, proposals to creditors and bankruptcies.
Shannon has successfully completed the Insolvency Counselling Course and the Insolvency Administrator’s Course through the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals. Shannon received her CIRP designation in 2019 and became a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in 2020.

She also spent 10 years as a child and family counsellor after graduating from the University of Guelph. Kirsten completed the Insolvency Administration and Insolvency Counsellor’s Qualification Courses through CAIRP (Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals).
Kirsten takes pride in creating a safe environment where her clients feel empowered and heard. She understands that the stress of debt and the weight it carries can leave a person feeling confused on what to do.
